Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actor as well as a performer. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her mother is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model for newspapers and television commercials. Then Bell also started training in private acting. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school and she took home the part of Dorothy. Bell later moved into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. The was the same year that she also made her first credited debut with Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell appeared on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
