RachelRachel Keller is a fictional character from The Ring film series. The character created by Rachel Keller was invented by Ehren Kruger. Naomi Watts plays the role. Rachel must investigate the life of Samara Morgan the son of her in The Ring Two. Ruth, Rachel's sister, asks Rachel to inquire into the mysterious circumstances surrounding Katie's sudden passing. Rachel learns from her that Katie was healthy and discovered Katie's corpse disfigured inside the closet. Katie's friends inform Rachel about the myth of the cursed videotape and that Becca Katie's friend was confined after Katie's death. Katie's boyfriend and two of her best acquaintances, also passed away in bizarre accidents that took place on the same night , at 10:30 pm. Rachel journeys to Shelter Mountain Inn, where she stays in Cabin 12. This cabin is the one Katie and her friends saw the tape that was cursed. Rachel stumbles across the tape and begins to watch it following which her phone rings. Rachel hears a voice utter "seven days". Rachel seeks advice from her ex-boyfriend Noah Clay, a video analyst. Later, Rachel discovers that Aidan the son of her with Noah, watched the tape at the same time that Noah calls her, telling her that he is convinced by her. Rachel studies the lighthouse that was on the tape, and discovers it was situated on Moesko Island, the home of an ill-fated horse breeder named Anna Morgan, who appeared on the cursed videotape. After a thorough investigation, Rachel discovers Anna had an adopted daughter named Samara and she had the ability to create disturbing images into the minds of humans as well as animals and other objects. Rachel meets Anna's widower Richard and he asks her leave after she starts to ask questions about Samara.
